When you decide to have a themed wedding you will either be considering a fully themed wedding or a partial themed wedding.
What is the difference?
Fully Themed Wedding
The difference of a fully themed wedding is the theme is carried totally through out the day from start to finish and all guests dress to the theme, all food and entertainment, theming to compliment.
Partial Themed Wedding
A partial themed wedding is where the guests have optional dress, everything they are part of is themed to what ever extent the couple wish.

The Blue Lions not only play a real variety of styles, including all your favourite party tunes, but they play them like no other band in town.
The band offers a music plan for weddings that involves any, or all of 3 parts below:
1) Ceremony - during the wedding ceremony itself, we can arrange for something classical or more modern, depending on your taste. We usually recommend a smaller group, but can provide large ensembles if the venue has space - perhaps including strings, harp, flute - ask about a free demo CD, to hear some of the possibilities for yourself.
2) Entry/Wedding Breakfast - as the newly-weds make their entrance, during hors d'ouevres, or the early stages of the wedding breakfast, you might not want to rock it up too much, and a smaller selection of the musicians can play traditional jazz or chilled acoustic music in the background, to keep the room buzzing. This is a really important way to set the mood for the night, without over-doing it - perfect music for sipping cocktails!
3) Finally the Party - of course after dinner and the formalities, if you are looking to get everyone straight onto the dance floor then you really need a serious band. This is where Blue Lions have earned their reputation - playing music for the dance floor!
In addition, a basic DJ service is provided during dinner to keep the party going during the moments when you don't want live music. Depending on your requirements, any or all of the elements can be removed and configured to your personal taste in music or wedding theme.
