Opening 1st March 2025 – The Ridings Restaurant & Rooms – part of the grade II listed mansion house of Theobalds Estate, which was once home to Royals and became a riding school during WWII, was converted into a hotel during the 1990s. With its turrets, arched windows, warm brick facade and elegant marble pillars, the picturesque hotel sits in 55 acres of parkland, complete with ornate landscaped Italian gardens. Nestled in the Hertfordshire countryside, the site is just 10 miles north of Central London and minutes from the M25. (J25).
Over the coming months the hotel and estate will undergo a complete transformation and refrubishment after being closed for over a year, this will include updated and refurbished meeting rooms, event spaces and bedrooms.
