Today, wooden rafters, carvings, exposed oak beams and large open fireplaces proudly reflect the hotel's historic charm. Long Melford is renowned as one of Suffolk’s most beautiful villages which is aptly named after its extremely long high street, lined all along with attractive historic timber framed buildings and Tudor cottages. The large village Green close by features the impressive 15th Century Holy Trinity Church, famous for its exquisite stone, wood carvings and priceless stained glass window. The River Stour is only a stone’s throw away from the Hotel and these all combine to offer numerous stunning photographic opportunities. It is easily accessible from Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Colchester, Ipswich, Braintree and Stansted Airport which are all within easy driving distance.

There are a choice of three fully licensed suites to choose from for all types of Civil and Civil Partnership Ceremonies which can offer:
- The historic Mylde Suite for ceremonies from 20 – 60 guests seated
- The historic Martin Lounge Suite for up to 90 guests seated
- The Kentwell Suite for up to 90 guests seated

Cuisine
The Bull is renowned for its excellent cuisine and Chef’s specialities. The Cordell and Kentwell Restaurants serve delicious dishes, complimented by an excellent selection of fine wines. For relaxation you can sit in one of the comfortably furnished 'Exclusive Use' private lounges beside one of the Hotel’s huge Elizabethan Fireplaces.

Accomodation
Our luxury Bridal Suite includes an impressive dressed Four Poster bed and a lounge area, surrounded by the original oak beams which make up the fabric of this beautiful old building, with an adjoining ensuite bathroom and absolutely ideal for your special occasion.

The 24 guest bedrooms are also all en-suite, well appointed, and very tastefully furnished in keeping with the style of the hotel. All have colour televisions, mini stereos, direct dial phones, ironing boards, irons, hairdryers and tea and coffee making facilities.

We also have large Feature & Family Rooms available for guests with young children. CAR PARKING There is ample parking available right across the main frontage of the Bull Hotel and also at the back of the hotel and throughout Long Melford village High Street.
