From the moment you enter our unique village setting you will experience breath-taking views and beautiful gardens, which make the perfect setting for your photographs. We have different Event Suites to cater for all tastes, whether you are planning a traditional or contemporary style wedding.

The food and refreshments will add that extra something to your day as we serve fresh, local and scrumptious food to wow your guests. Our dedicated Wedding Planners will also be on hand to assist with all your preparations and to ensure your day goes perfectly.

The Penny Farthing Suite; 

A beautiful space with separate rooms for a wedding breakfast, civil ceremony and bar area. It has high beams and wood panel walls giving it a warm, intimate feel. It can accommodate between 30 to 200 guests for a civil ceremony followed by a wedding breakfast. For your evening reception the maximum capacity is 200 with its central location in the Village, it has easy access to all facilities the hotel has to offer.

The Pennine Suite;

The room, can accommodate up to 700 guests for a civil ceremony and buffet reception or 475 guests for a private banquet. The Pennine Suite also has floor to ceiling windows allowing natural daylight into the suite.

The Suite can be split into two separate suites using a sound proofed wall creating the Firwood Suite and Holcombe Suite, perfect for a ceremony on one side, and wedding breakfast on the other.

The space has 4 bars and 2 self-contained kitchens, all accessible at ground level.

Each of these Suites have a private bar and reception area, and the Holcombe Suite can host up to 370 for a civil ceremony or up to 250 guests for a wedding breakfast and evening celebration, while the Firwood Suite can hold 290 or 200 respectively.

The Harmony Suite;

This beautifully located Suite, with its own private car park, can accommodate up to 80 guests for a civil ceremony day reception and up to 100 guests for an evening reception. The split level patio has stunning views overlooking scenic wood areas and spectacular views of Greater Manchester during the evening, ideal for a celebratory drink. We can provide a hog roast or even a BBQ on the patio which can seat up to 40 additional guests.

The Harmony Suite has access to the main garden areas and has its own private bar and cloak room exclusively for your use.

The Mimosa Suite;

Located in the main hotel, this Suite is ideal for an intimate wedding from 2 to 50 day guests. The Mimosa Suite is perfect for ceremonies and the wedding breakfast. You can party into the night in The Drop Inn pub situated in the village which is available on both a private and semi-private basis. The Mimosa Suite is a lovely intimate room with traditional wooden beams and stone walls in the heart of the hotel with use of The Courtyard Bar, decked terrace and gardens.
