A UNESCO World Heritage site, Kew has a variety of stunning venues set within 320 acres of world renowned botanic gardens whether you are looking for a small, intimate ceremony and reception with close family and friends, or a larger, memorable celebration with up to 200 guests.
Our two civil ceremony licensed venues are Cambridge Cottage and the Nash Conservatory.
The most intimate of our packages is located at Cambridge Cottage. A former royal residence to the Duke of Cambridge, this classically styled venue is perfect for civil ceremonies and wedding breakfasts for up to 80 guests, you can invite a further 40 guests as part of your after-dinner party.
For an indoor celebration, enjoy the relaxed elegance of the Cottage’s Drawing Room before moving through to the Gallery for dinner surrounded by some of our finest botanical artwork. The Drawing Room and Gallery onto the picturesque and secluded Duke's Garden, a refreshing green space for outdoor drinks and photographs. We can also accommodate outdoor ceremonies at Cambridge Cottage in the Summer months, where you can exchange your vows framed by the French doors of the Drawing Room while your guests look on from the lawn of the Duke’s Garden.
The Nash Conservatory can be hired on its own, or as part of our multiple venue packages. Exchange your vows in the enchanting 19th century glasshouse for a civil ceremony of up to 200 guests. With floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, the stunning Conservatory provides an abundance of natural daylight, filling the space with a warm glow all year round.
Serve drinks on the secluded lawn behind the Nash Conservatory or nearby in the colourful Princess of Wales Conservatory, a unique glasshouse with ten climate zones. While your guests enjoy their drinks, you’ll have time to tour the Gardens in an escorted buggy for photos in our most scenic locations.
You then have the option of hosting your evening dinner and dance in either our classic Orangery or the iconic Temperate House. A Grade I listed building, the Orangery is an ideal setting for your wedding reception and dinner dance. With high ceilings and grand, arched windows, it offers space to celebrate in an atmosphere that is both stylish and serene.
Alternatively, the world’s largest Victorian glasshouse, the Temperate House is the perfect location for a breath-taking evening reception.
